We're an experienced team that focuses on one thing - installing bathrooms properly. From full renovations to walk-in showers, wet rooms, and tiling, we handle every project from first visit through to completion.At Larimar Bathrooms, we provide a complete range of bathroom installation services, delivered with a focus on practical design, clean workmanship, and long-term reliability.
Larimar Bathrooms is run by Karl and Dan, who between them have over 40 years of experience in bathroom installation and tiling. We're based in Binfield and work across Wokingham, Crowthorne, Bracknell, Ascot, Winkfield, and surrounding areas.
We started out as tilers - and we still are. Our tiling business, K Hadden Tiling, has been operating in Berkshire for over 20 years. Larimar Bathrooms grew out of that, as more clients asked us to manage the full renovation rather than just the tiling. We now handle the entire process: layout planning, strip-out, plumbing, electrics, tiling, and finishing.
We take on a manageable number of projects at any one time so we can give each one the attention it needs. Most of our work comes from recommendations, which is something we take seriously.
Every bathroom we install follows the same basic approach:
We visit first. Before quoting or recommending anything, we come to your home and look at the space. We measure up, check the existing plumbing and electrics, and talk through how you use the room and what you'd like to change.
We plan it properly. Layout matters more than most people expect. Where the shower sits, how the door opens, where the towel rail goes - these things affect how the room feels to use every day. We spend time getting the layout right before any work starts.
We prepare thoroughly. Good preparation is what separates a bathroom that lasts from one that doesn't. We level floors, waterproof wet areas, set out tile layouts in advance, and make sure everything is ready before we start fitting.
We install it ourselves. Karl and Dan are on site for every project. For specialist trades - electrics and plumbing - we bring in qualified subcontractors we've worked with for years. This means every aspect of the installation is handled by someone who specialises in it.
We finish it cleanly. We leave the bathroom ready to use, clean, and exactly as agreed. No snagging list, no coming back to finish off.

We work with a trusted network of qualified subcontractors for the elements that require specialist certification. This includes:
- Qualified electricians for lighting, extractor fans, and heated towel rail connections
- Experienced plumbers for pipework, waste, and valve installations
These are tradespeople we've worked alongside for years. They understand how we work and the standard we expect. Using specialists for each trade means every part of the installation is done by someone qualified and experienced in that specific area - which is safer and produces better results than one person trying to do everything.
We're based in Binfield, Berkshire, and carry out most of our work within a short radius of home. The areas we serve include:

Most of the homes we work in are a mix of 1960s–80s builds with original or dated bathrooms, newer developments where the builder-spec bathroom needs upgrading, and period properties with more complex layouts. We're used to working in all of these.
