The client contacted us to completely rethink their existing bathroom, which no longer suited how they used the space day to day. A large jacuzzi bath sat unused, the shower enclosure felt cramped, and a partition wall closed the room off, making it impractical and difficult to move around. The aim was to create a more open, accessible bathroom that was easier to maintain, while still delivering a clean, premium finish.

The challenge was achieving all of this within a modest-sized room, while keeping the layout visually clean and well balanced.
We started by carefully removing the existing suite and partition wall to fully open the room. This allowed us to rethink the layout from scratch and design a more fluid, accessible space with better movement and natural light flow.
The shower area was positioned to feel open but controlled, avoiding the need for steps or raised trays. Storage and sanitaryware were planned as a single, continuous run to reduce visual breaks and keep pipework concealed.
Each decision was made to improve usability first, with finishes selected to support a calm, long-lasting result rather than following short-term trends.
Materials were chosen for durability, ease of maintenance, and a consistent finish across the room.

The completed bathroom is now open, light, and far easier to use. Removing the partition wall and oversized bath has transformed how the space functions, while the walk-in shower provides step-free access without compromising on comfort.
Integrated storage keeps the room uncluttered, and the large format tiles help the space feel larger and more cohesive. The result is a bathroom that works well on a daily basis and will continue to do so for years to come.
